The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced 4 recalls involving Amazon Basics products since 2010, the most recent on May 14, 2026. Amazon Recalls Amazon Basics 55 Lbs. Adjustable Dumbbells Due to Impact Hazard
Hazard: The weight plates can fail to engage completely during weight adjustment and dislodge from the dumbbell handle when used, posing an impact hazard.
What was recalled: This recall involves the Amazon Basics 55 Lbs. Adjustable Dumbbells. The dumbbells were sold in pairs and single units in the color black and include handles, weight plates and a molded plastic tray. The dumbbells adjust from 5 to 55 pounds using manual adjustment knobs while the weights are nested in the base. The manufacturing lot code C250306VJAW5 is printed on the outer cardboard packaging box.
Remedy: Consumers should stop using the recalled dumbbell immediately and follow Amazon's instructions for a full refund. Upon registration at https://amazondumbbellrecall.expertinquiry.com, consumers will be provided with a prepaid shipping label to return the dumbbell handle to Amazon. Upon receipt, consumers will be issued a full refund to the original payment method or in the form of an Amazon gift card.

Amazon Recalls Amazon Basics Camping Folding Pocket Knives Due to Laceration Hazard
Hazard: The folding mechanism on the blade can fail to remain properly secured in the closed position, posing a laceration hazard.
What was recalled: This recall involves the Amazon Basics Camping Folding Pocket Knife with a 3.5" blade. It is made from black high carbon stainless steel and has a pocket clip. The model number is B0DM5BJK3H. Manufacturing lot codes (MLC) C25021766FJO, C25090466FJO or C25090566FJO are printed on the side of the white packaging box.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled knife and register for the recall at https://amazonfoldingkniferecall.expertinquiry.com/. Consumers will be provided with a prepaid return kit and instructions to safely return the recalled knife to Amazon. Upon receipt, consumers will be issued a full refund to the original payment method or in the form of an Amazon gift card.

Amazon Recalls Amazon Basics Premium Foam Eurotop Mattresses Due to Fire Hazard; Violates Federal Standard for Mattress Flammability; Sold on Amazon
Hazard: The recalled mattresses violate a mandatory flammability standard for mattresses, posing a fire hazard and risk of serious injury or death to consumers.
What was recalled: This recall involves Amazon Basics Premium Foam Eurotop Mattresses. The mattresses are nine inches thick and were sold in twin, full, queen and king sizes. They have a white top panel and a gray side panel with an Amazon Basics tag on the foot panel. They were manufactured from December 22, 2022, through May 16, 2024. The manufacture date in MM/DD/YYYY format; SKU number ABFM0933, ABFM0946, ABFM0950 or ABFM0966; and prototype ID: 1131 40 00 1 appear on a white label located on the center seam of
Remedy: Consumers should stop using the recalled mattress immediately and follow Amazon's instructions for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to write "Recalled" on the mattress with a permanent marker, submit a photo of the marked mattress to http://amazoneurotoprecall.expertinquiry.com and certify disposal. Upon receipt of the photo and certification of disposal, consumers will be issued a full refund to a valid payment method in the consumer's Amazon wallet or in the form of an Amazon gift card. The recalled mattresses should be disposed of in accordance with local laws. Amazon is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Amazon Recalls Amazon Basics Desk Chairs Due to Fall and Injury Hazards (Recall Alert)
Hazard: The chairs' leg base can break, posing fall and injury hazards.
What was recalled: This recall involves the Amazon Basics Executive Desk Chair. The upholstered swivel chair was sold in black, brown and white and has padded armrests and five legs with rolling casters. The chair can be adjusted for seat height and backrest tilt. Only chairs that have a horizontal plastic piece on the bottom of the caster bracket are included in this recall.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chairs and contact Amazon for instructions on how to dispose of the chairs for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to upload a photo of the chair's leg base and certify disposal of the chair. Upon receipt of the photo and certification of disposal, consumers will be issued a full refund to a valid payment method in the consumer's Amazon wallet or an Amazon gift card. Amazon is contacting all known purchasers directly.
