Make breads or muffins with this great mix! Quick and easy to make, with simple instructions listed on the back of the conveniently packaged, one-time use pouch. This Deluxe flavor offers a richer taste for those who can afford the extra carbs. Contains 3 g Net Carbs per serving and is NOT appropriate for Induction. One muffin equals one serving. For those controlling their carbs, count only 7 grams of the 11 grams of Total Carbs in this product. Subtract dietary fiber (3 g) which has a minimal impact on blood sugar.
Directions
You will need: 1/2 cup water, 1/3 cup oil, 2 eggs, 1/3 cup heavy cream*. *For lighter muffins substitute water for cream. MUFFINS: 1. HEAT oven to 425 degrees F. Place paper baking cups in muffin cups, or grease (or spray with non-stick cooking spray) muffin cups. 2. COMBINE mix, eggs, oil, water and heavy cream in a large bowl. Stir until moistened. 3. DIVIDE BATTER evenly into 11 muffin cups. Bake 16-21 minutes. Test muffins at the lowest suggested baking time. Muffins are done when toothpick inserted in center of muffin comes out clean. 4. COOL 5-10 minutes and remove from tray before serving. To make 6 muffins: Divide mix in half (about 1 cup is half of mix), 1/4 cup water, 3 Tbsp oil, 3 Tbsp heavy cream, 1 egg. Follow directions in main recipe. BREAD: 1. HEAT oven to 350 degrees F. Grease (or spray with non-stick cooking spray) one 8x4 inch loaf pan. Follow directions in main recipe. 2. POUR in prepared loaf pan. Bake 50-55 minutes or until golden brown. (Ovens vary so check at lowest time range). 3. COOL 5-10 minutes and remove from pan before serving. About a 3/4 inch thick slice equals 8 grams of net carbs. FOR HIGH ALTITUDE BAKING: Use the least amount of suggested baking time for best results.
